Thanks, Dr. Carter! Benefited a great deal from Dissertation House and particularly from our one on one conversations. I took your advice in looking for a call for papers and was also able to publish an article in the Journal of Housing Economics based on my results from my dissertation.

Thanks so much again! A

Thank you very much, Dr. Carter-Veale. I learned a lot from dissertation house!

Still, have a lot need to do before I move, but compared to the dissertation is a small piece of cake.

Thank you for your help and support again!  :)CL

Hello Dr. Carter!

I completed your dissertation writing retreat through Michigan AGEP in 2011 or 2012. It was so helpful, and I revisit many of the tips/tools to this day. I am now faculty at the University of Florida and I wanted to inquire about contracting your services.

Thanks! K

Hi Dr. Carter-Veale,

I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know that I successfully defended my dissertation on May 8th–with NO revisions! I sent you a tweet, but I’m not sure if you saw it. I will be walking in my department’s ceremony this week. Thank you again for all of your help both of the summers I attended Dissertation House. Your advice of “a good dissertation is a done dissertation” was taped to my wall and Lenisa’s advice from last summer to “fail fast to succeed quick” really helped me to just write the chapters and let them go. I have been telling students in my program who are working on their proposals to apply for Dissertation House once they defend. Hopefully they will do it and it will be as helpful for them.

Thanks you again! KB

Thank you so much for everything Dr. CV, you have truly been a help to so many of us!

Thanks KC

Thank you so much. Many of your DH guidelines really helped me: I read the dissertation end to end and created a binder of it. I also created some slides on possible questions and things (such as findings on covariates) that I did not have time to present during the actual 40 minute presentation. I could answer questions from the audience and then from one committee member with the help of these. My advisor mentioned that this was her 56th committee as chair and it went one of the fastest!

Regards, SB
